Before sunrise

Before Sunrise

What is the movie's name?

Before Sunrise

"A young man and woman meet on a train in Europe, and wind up spending one evening together in Vienna. Unfortunately, both know that this will probably be their only night together."~IMDb

Who is your favorite character in this movie, and why?

Jesse.

I like the way he talks to girls.
If you want to chase after the girl you like, Jesse is your model! Because I think the words and tones he speaks are what a girl would expect from a man, that's why I love this character.

What have you learned from this movie?

As I said for the last question, I've learned how to communicate with girls, since Jesse gives me so much inspiration, and I've known better about what a girl's expectations.

Is there anything you want to do differently if you were the character?

If I were Jesse, I would definitely ask Celine's(main actress) phone number, they thought that they would meet each other due to destiny, but it's uncertain and uncontrollable. Why not just ask for the phone number or address if you think the girl is the one?

Did you learn anything new about you after watching this movie?

I've learned how to express myself in my own way.  Sometimes you have a lot in your mind, and desperately want to tell your friends, but you just so clumsy in speaking, and can not make others see your points.

Which scene or song or any part of the movie that you like the best? Talk about it.

The poem scene beside the river bank.
It was very late in the night, when Jesse and Celine were taking a stroll and spending the night, they met a poet sitting by the river. The poet made a Milkshake Poem for them.

I really like this poet and the way he earn the money- make living by writing poem, he is so free and has income, it's a dream work for me.

Go finish the other two movies- Before sunset (2004) and Before midnight (2013)!!

The Giver

The Giver

lettering by Sandy Yeh

What is the movie's name?

The Giver

"In a seemingly perfect community, without war, pain, suffering, differences or choice, a young boy is chosen to learn from an elderly man about the true pain and pleasure of the "real" world." ~IMDb

Who is your favorite character in The Giver? and why?

The main actor, Jonas, whose best friend- Asher.

Asher did not agree on what Jonas did in the first place, because Jonas  has already broken the rules in their society. However, Asher decided to trust his friend unconditionally, he doesn't have the memory and knowledge about the outside world, he couldn't understand why Jonas act like this, but he still believes in Jonas.
I think their fiendship is what people have been looking for in our entire life.

What have you learned from The Giver?

Meryl Streep is fierce and stylish, even she is with adorable bangs in the movie.
Love her so much!!

Is there anything you want to do differently if you were the character?

If I were Rosemary, I won’t give up on being the Receiver. Being the Receiver only can feel emotions instead of preventing the happening of cruel things, such as releasing the unhealthy babies. I think I can take up the uncomfortable feelings.

Did you learn anything new about you after watching this movie?

I found that humans’ emotions are valuable and detestable at the same time. Even though we see the virtue deep in our hearts, the killings, wars and jealousy are brutal truths that we cannot stop from happening in this world.

Which scene or song or any part of the movie that you like the best? Talk about it.

My favorite part in this movie is the night when Jonas went for the baby Gabriel, he gave the baby the wonderful memories from which he received , then Gabriel stopped crying and started to laugh. In my opinion, the reaction from babies are usually the most direct and naïve, babies know the definition of the happiness, anger, sorrow and joys better than anyone else, that’s why Gabriel can understand what Jonas feels about!

Additional comments?
Nope.
